Community Support

Our local community is important to us and we love being a part of it. It is like having one big extended family! And at Forestway Fresh we like to look after our family. It is why we support so many schools, kindergartens and local community groups with their fundraising efforts.

We try our best to help as many local groups and organisations as possible, but we do receive an overwhelming number of requests and unfortunately, we are unable to fulfil them all. To help us target our support efforts, we are focussing on the priority area of ‘education‘, with preference given to local public or not-for-profit schools and kindergartens.

If you are throwing a fundraiser and need our help, please email a donation request on your organisation’s letterhead about four to six weeks prior to the event. The Forestway Fresh Community Support Team review requests on a monthly basis. Applications that meet our community support criteria will be treated on a first in first served basis. The Community Support Team will notify you of the outcome by phone or email.

To help the Team process your request, please include the following information in your letter:

  • Organisation name
  • Address
  • Contact person’s name, address, email address, and phone number
  • Contribution request (hamper or gift voucher)
  • Explanation of how the contribution will be used
  • The approximate number of people it will benefit
  • Timeline including method or time of pick up

We take pride in the quality of our fresh produce, so if you are receiving a donation hamper, please treat it with some TLC. To keep the produce fresh and beautiful, handle your hamper with care and keep it in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. Picking up your hamper on the day of your fundraiser will also help keep the produce in tip top Forestway Fresh shape.
